The NSW state government has just announced a new $20 Million dollar fund to draw in international films such as Star Wars, Hollywood Blockbusters, and Australian-made Television and film productions to NSW. This doubles the amount of funding previously allocated.

Actor Bryan Brown said “It certainly will help a huge number of projects get the opportunity to go into production.”

This will increase the ability for studios to bid for the big international films to be shot here, just like Star Wars and Game of Thrones, thus allowing the NSW film industry to thrive.

When a movie, Television Show, commercial and the like are film and or produced here in NSW the amount of money it brings to the local communities and the tourism dollars is outstanding.

We have some of the best studios here at Fox Studio’s and Australians are well regarded in front of the camera and behind it. So why can’t Star Wars be filmed in NSW
